Racism in Real Estate and in the United States is part of the US culture. Look at the history of the US as early as 1968, which is when, finally, redlining was banned. Still, to this day, redlining and racism continue in the United States. Racism in real estate is alive and growing. Blacks own fewer homes than they did 50 years ago. A lot of buyers face discrimination in real estate on a regular basis. Racism in real estate is systemic, and it's not going away anytime soon. Racism happens to all real estate agents. Every real estate agent I have come across has faced discrimination of some kind. Redlining still exists, and the racial wealth gap has grown. And the main reason for that is the racial profiling of blacks, browns, Hispanics, and Asians.
