Tesla PowerWall2 10 Year Warranty Requires WiFi Connection | Ludicrous Feed | Tesla Tom

Recently I received an email from Tesla asking me to switch my PowerWall2 from using cellular network to my home Wi-Fi in order to maintain my 10 year warranty. Here's the email:

We have noticed that your Powerwall is not currently connected to Wi-Fi and is only using cellular connection for communication with your Tesla App and the Tesla Server.
We ask that you connect Powerwall to your Wi-Fi network for the following reasons:
Better performance regarding the monitoring and configuration via the Tesla App
Better reliability of the internet connection
Planned decommissioning of the 3G cellular network in coming years could leave your Powerwall without an internet connection
A requirement of the Powerwall 10 year warranty is dependent on a Wi-Fi or ethernet internet connection, otherwise it is limited to 4 years.

Needless to say, I switched over to my home Wi-Fi and here's how I did it.

ABOUT LUDICROUS FEED
