Twin Peaks is back after 25 years. So here’s Three Facts About Twin Peaks.
Created in 1990 by David Lynch and Mark Frost, the show is equal parts soap opera, crime drama, surreal horror, and whatever this is. And it revolutionised television. Now countless shows have shamelessly ripped it off. I mean, been inspired by it.
The story was all about the mystery of Who Killed Laura Palmer and the killer was revealed halfway through season 2. Shortly after this, the ratings dropped and before you knew it the show was cancelled. Was this because they solved the mystery too soon? Or was it because they turned one of the main characters into a bedside cabinet? Who’s to say?
And finally, if this revival is successful, then you can look forward to seeing several 90s shows being brought back, like: Sex and the City 3: Menopausal Manhattan Mani-pedi Even Frasierer and Friends: The One Where They Can’t Drink Coffee Because They All Have Heart Problems.
