Fitting an 11-40 rear cassette on a Trek Checkpoint Gravel Bike with Shimano 105

I replaced the stock Shimano 105 11-34 cassette with a Shimano XT 11-40 cassette and did not have to use a road link to make this work. Adjusting the B screw all the way in on the deraiuler was the only major difference between the 105 cassette and this gave me the needed clearence. I just needed the extra climbing gears. I ride gravel and lots of fire roads and single track in the mountains so the extra climbing gears will really come in handy!!
