CT Detectors (Computed Tomography Detectors)

Описание к видео CT Detectors (Computed Tomography Detectors)

CT Detectors are the most important component in a CT system in determining the image quality in the system.
CT Detectors were previously made of ionization chambers which required high pressure gases.
Modern CT Detectors use scintillators and have a photodiode to read-out the electrical signal.
It is even possible to have a dual layer approach with scintillation based detectors to gain some spectral capabilities.
