Managing Grief - Fudge has lost her best buddy

This is our first full video without our beloved Archie. We do our best to keep things normal for Fudge whilst we navigate our own grief after losing our gorgeous, brave and intelligent black labrador, Archie. We focus our attention on his best buddy Fudge keeping to a familiar routine.

We begin this video in the small village of Dunwich which, although now very small, was once teeming with life with a vibrant community and a history to behold.

Managing our own grief, Sue suggests a trip to our happy place of Ambleside, so we set off on the 5 and a half hour trip with a short overnight stop on route at Park Gate Leisure, a canal marina.

Finally arriving at Millers Field in Amleside we breathe in the fresh air, take in the views and take a familiar walk along the river remembering all the good times we had with Archie.

He is very much missed.

We are Kath and Sue and we are travelling the UK with our dog Fudge and living full time in our Burstner Elegance Motorhome. We have given up conventional living for a new van-life, enjoying the freedom of the road and plenty of time outdoors taking in the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.
