Postmodern wall clock in blue, yellow, light orange, black and white by Natalie du Pasquier and George Sowden for Neos, made in Italy in 1988. Pop art style with the use of Ben Day dots made famous by artist Roy Lichtenstein. Numbers around the face are omitted and replaced with graphic black squares over a swirling pattern of salmon orange outlined in white, and cloud like patches dotted in black. Yellow second hand with a large circle at the clock's center. Thick, bright blue minute and hour hands. This is one of the most playful, colorful post-modern designs by du Pasquier and Sowden in the Memphis style, and reflects that strong aspect of Italian design.
