Abandoned and Partially Flooded - a small village lies on the Lancashire / North Yorkshire border called Thornton in Craven. The village is home to an abandoned quarry that was once bustling. It had its own narrow gauge railway line off the now closed Colne to Skipton railway line. Today it's an eery but beautiful place to experience and soak in the atmosphere of.
