Vikash Shah, the Director of documentaries—‘Madhugange’, 'Gumkee' and ‘Geruka’ himself participated in the Mithila Parikrama has publishized the Series-1 (In maithili) of "Parikrama-Stories of Faith" today.
Series-1 will be released soon in Nepali, Hindi and English languages.
His latest documentary Series on the annual Mithila procession showcases the Parikrama as the longest and largest circumambulation of the pious land of Mithila. The documentary on Parikrama apprises the viewers of the nature of life in Mithila, including it's history and mythology.
The documentary stresses on the faith of the circumambulating devotees who believe that Goddesses travel together with the procession.
The documentary shows the pilgrimage route and its adjoining villages and towns as pulsating with the galvanized enthusiasms of the bhaktas.
The spotlight of the documentary is on a child who has given away his childhood to God in the pursuit of figuring out the mystique of Mithila Parikrama lasting over a period of 15 days and nights.
The documentary zeroes in on the continuous chanting of the all-echoing Sita Ram mantra.
