This video is an explanation of Black holes in a nutshell.

What are Black holes?
Black holes are objects in space with gravity so strong that it pulls everything inside and normally, nothing escapes it, not even light. Although being invisible to the eye black holes can contain mass more than million times our sun und whole galaxies are formed around them. There is a supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy too.
The concept of black holes was proposed by Albert Einstein in his theory of general relativity.

Why light cant light escape a black hole?
Since black holes have so powerful gravitational forces that it would take an object escape velocity more than the speed of light to escape a black hole, which is not possible as light speed is the maximum attainable speed in he universe.

How to make black hole of earth?
In theory, anything can be turned into a black hole of any size if we compress it dense enough. Earth compressed to the size of a golf ball will turn into a black hole.
The same densely packed region at the core of a black hole is called a “singularity” and The threshold around it is called the event horizon.

Why are black holes black?
Since light gets trapped in it, an isolated black hole in universe is by definition black and invisible.
Black holes in space are often part of binary or multi star systems where they suck material from other stars. So there position can be figured by observing the movements of the other planets or stars in their vicinity.

Black hole real picture explained!
The first ever Black hole real image, taken in April of 2017 belongs to a super massive black hole with mass of 6.5 billion times our Sun at the center of the galaxy Messier87 or M87. Well its not exactly the black hole's image but its shadow. Our whole galaxy could probably fit inside it. Similarly a 4 million solar mass super massive black hole called Sagittarius A* is also present at the center of galaxy, Milky way.

The Nobel Prize in Physics 2020 was divided, one half awarded to Roger Penrose "for the discovery that black hole formation is a robust prediction of the general theory of relativity", the other half jointly to Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez "for the discovery of a supermassive compact object at the centre of our galaxy."
