After 18 long years, I took a leap of faith to get the closure I longed for. Regardless of how her reaction or appearance was, I thank God that this woman chose to give me life. It wasn't an easy road up to this event, but this day healed me in so many ways. Since then, we have remained in contact through Facebook. I was so blessed to meet my two younger half brothers this same day and am enjoying building a relationship with them.
