There was a song that was sung "momma there will be days like these"
Always thought you'd be there with me, and it was always said, "it goes by way too fast"
Hold, will you hold onto me?, the way you used to when we would sleep
The pressure was working against the night again.
I can feel your heart beating against mine, and I knew it was real.
All the night you set everything aside for me, as I was just a child
Oh, what does it mean, oh Lord what does it mean?
When you feel terrified on the inside and now there is nowhere to hide that's safe.
For your sight, you know all the places that I hide. Is this the way? Are you challenging me, to wrestle again. This was the place, I saw the angels ascending and descending. I will never let you go again.
I will power through the pain of my sinews being torn: if it destroys me, I will just be with you, with you for eternity. I will never let go of you again. What is this life for, without you?
What is this life to live without you?
