This turned out to be a great day, despite the many fuel shortages in my old DR 350's tank (full disclosure I've now ordered a 4.25 gallon tank and plan to do some extensive tuning soon) We headed out early morning after an awesome breakfast at Warm Springs Inn, rode across some fantastic mountain ranges, saw some families camping on Easter Weekend that really made us miss home, but also feel very fortunate that we can do a trip of a lifetime like this! On up to Reddish Knob, which if you do this BDR search it up, it's just a short skip off the route and well worth it. Heading up to the 4200' peak, we were both getting low on fuel (we have extra but it's a pain to get to) and thought we only had maybe 5 or 6 miles to go, but turned out more like 15 or so. The trip to the top was well worth it for sure. We basically were able to coast all the way back down to the trail. This part of section 3 is where all the water crossings are. These crossings can get super deep, but luckily we hit it just right. One of them was fairly deep but we made it without getting wet. On to Brandywine General store to fill up. Make sure to stop in this general store, it has some really cool things to check out! I decided to end the video here. We will pick back up with some of the most fantastic mountain valleys of the trip. Up through Smoke Hole canyon and on to Petersburg WV where some crazy things happen! Don't miss the next episode!
