In this video, I’ll show you how to make cold process honey soap using just 2 oils + honey + mica color – the easiest and best recipe for beginners! 🌸

This soap is moisturizing, gentle, and perfect for glowing skin. Plus, it looks gorgeous in a honeycomb mold 🍯💛

🧼 Ingredients (300 g Oils – Small Batch)
• Olive oil – 200 g
• Coconut oil – 100 g
• Distilled water – 90 g
• Sodium hydroxide (NaOH / lye) – 42 g (≈5% superfat)
• Honey – ½ to 1 tsp (dissolved in 1 tbsp warm water)
• Mica powder – ¼ tsp (golden/yellow, dispersed in 1 tsp oil)
• Essential oils (optional, 4–5 g):
• Sweet orange + vanilla = dessert-like scent 🍊🍦
• OR lavender + chamomile = calm & floral 🌸

📝 Method
1. Prepare lye solution → slowly add NaOH into distilled water, stir until clear. Let it cool.
2. Melt oils → melt coconut oil, then add olive oil. Let cool to ~35–40°C.
3. Mix oils & lye → pour lye into oils, stick blend to light trace.
4. Add honey (dissolved), then Add essential oils (if using).
5. Add mica. Stir gently..
6. Pour into honey mold → tap gently to remove bubbles.
7. Leave uncovered at room temp (or refrigerate if climate is hot).
8. Unmold after 24–48 hrs, then cure for 4–6 weeks in a cool, dry place.
