The CPU box, also known as the system unit or CPU cabinet, is the main body of the computer. It contains all the essential components that make the computer work.

🔎 Inside Components of CPU Box

1. Motherboard

The motherboard is the largest circuit board inside the CPU cabinet. It connects all the components together. The processor, RAM, hard disk, and other hardware are installed on the motherboard. Without it, the computer cannot work.

2. Processor (CPU – Central Processing Unit)

The SMPS provides the required electricity to all components inside the CPU box. It converts AC current from your home into DC current for the computer parts.

6. Cooling Fan and Heat Sink

The processor generates a lot of heat while working. That’s why a cooling fan and heat sink are installed to keep the CPU temperature under control.

7. Graphic Card (GPU)

The graphic card handles image, video, and gaming graphics. For students learning animation, video editing, or design, a powerful GPU is very important.

8. Input/Output Ports

On the front and back side of the CPU box, you will find USB ports, audio ports, HDMI, and VGA connections. These allow you to connect the keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, and pen drives.
