The CSMT - Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Express is a Superfast Express train belonging to Indian Railways - Konkan Railway division that runs between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Madgaon in India. It is one of the fastest and longest route running Jan Shatabdi train in Konkan Railways and is immensely popular amongst the people travelling to Konkan and Goa. The Vistadome coaches, which have huge windows and transparent roofs allowing a hindrance-free view of the surroundings, have become quite popular among passengers in India.

The Indian Railways had introduced the Vistadome trains to promote tourism. The coach was initially introduced on the Jan Shatabdi Express on the Mumbai-Madgaon route in 2018 for passengers to enjoy the view of the Western Ghats. The CSMT-Madgaon Janshatabdi Express was the first train to run with the Vistadome coach attached at its rear end. As of August 3rd, there are 33 coaches attached in 23 pairs of trains running on different routes in India.

Whether it is the breathtaking views of valleys, rivers and waterfalls along the Mumbai-Goa route, these coaches with glass rooftops and wide window panes have proved to be a hit.
