Israel vs. Hamas today: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the current phase of fighting against Hamas in Gaza is settling down, which sets the stage for Israel Defense Forces to send more troops to its northern border to confront the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

The Iranian-backed Hezbollah group started striking Israel after Hamas’ October 7th attack that started the Gaza war. Israel and Hezbollah continue to exchange fire at the border. The Israeli military said Hezbollah fired two anti-tank missiles from Lebanon.
