There's a monologue that comes with it in every recording I could find of this song, so I had to cut out the monologue. The videos would be around 2-3 minutes (counting the song) , so ya they take a chunk of the performance. But the last couple lines of the speech are the following:

The song is about (some of) the martyrs who fought for Mexico's independence. Listed in order of the song, they're:

Pedro Celestino Negrete,
Hermenegildo Galeana,
Vicente Guerrero,
Nicolás Bravo,
and Mariano Matamoros

The most Influential hero out of all of them was Jose Morelos who some consider to be the real 'father' of Mexico, although that is controversial with most people accepting that Miguel Hidalgo is the father of Mexico, but I digress.
