CN FP9s at Edmonton Diesel Shop and 3 trains at Bretville Junction from the sky - July 2024

CN FP9A 6514 and FP9B 6614 were brought down to CN Walker Yard LRC from the Alberta Railway Museum in mid-July and were spotted at West Junction. It was a hot and smoky afternoon as we see CN G 81341 18 departing Edmonton and passing the F-Units. We'll then head over to Bretville Junction a few days later, on a cloudy and smoky afternoon to see Z 11531 23 heading down the Camrose Sub, S 77451 24 heading east on the Wainwright Sub and M 31651 24 leaving the Camrose Sub for the Wainwright Sub. Bretville Junction is where the Camrose and Wainwright Sub intersect, which features a wye. Just west of Bretville Jct, is the North Saskatchewan River crossing, just east is Clover Bar Yard and just south is East Edmonton siding.
