The 113th Open Championship in 1984 produced one of the most iconic moments we have ever seen at The Open.

Over 150 players entered this Open, including 12 past champions, but the weekend belonged to the incredibly talented and much-loved Seve Ballesteros.

His triumphant fist pump immediately after his winning putt at St Andrews has lived on as one of the greatest moments in sporting history.

The Spaniard's victory was his second Open win and the fourth major of his career.

This victory was hard-fought for Seve, as he had to overcome Bernhard Langer and defending champion Tom Watson to win the Claret Jug.

It is time to look back at one of the most memorable Open’s of the 20th century.
