VW T5 Offroad🛺 - Cable Carril Chilecito - Mina La Mejicana, Argentina

VW T5 Offroad: Drive and hike with us along the Cable Carril Chilecito - Mina La Mejicana. We drove from Estación 1 to Estación 3 and hiked from there to Estación 6 and back. This is a spectacular 2 day trekking, but we spent 3 days in these beautiful mountains.

The Cable Carril in Chilecito / La Rioja is a 36km long cable car and was once the longest and highest in the world. There is a height difference of 3'528m from Estación 1 in Chilecito to Estación 9 at the Mina la Mejicana. The Cable Carril is now a famous Argentinian heritage site and is located. Enjoy the trip!
