Tin Mine Canyon - Cleveland national forest

Описание к видео Tin Mine Canyon - Cleveland national forest

Tin Mine canyon is a 3hours back and forth short hike in the city of Corona, Riverside county, CA. It will take you through a narrow canyon that follows a seasonal creek.

Along the trail is what's left of 3 mines shaft/ entries, from the tin mining boom that happened in the area starting 1859, and until around 1910.

Those 3 mines are blocked up, and where never really commercially successful, but are a reminder of Orange county mining past.

The trail is gorgeous after a rainfall.

My impressions about the hike: easy, short, pleasant hike. Lot of shade, trail well marked and maintained, and a lot of traffic. 3h back and forth to the mines. Definitely family friendly. Dogs allowed on leash.
