This method requires using specifically an adamant pickaxe.

The first two rocks are 4 ticks to mine and the third rock is 6 ticks to mine, averaging out to 4.66 ticks per rock with a double roll for to mine each sandstone.

Because of the double rolls, this method is 30-45% faster (depending on your mining level) than using a rune pickaxe without tick manipulation. Through the low mining levels the difference is larger because of the double rolls mattering more.

In addition, the mining portion of this method is entirely done walking meaning you break even/profit run energy, compared to 3 tick methods which require stamina potions to upkeep.
