Expropriation of land without compensation expected to top the agenda at the ANC's Land Summit starts today. The Summit is expected to explore how the ruling party will be able to address the issue around land reform. At its Elective Conference in December, the ANC resolved that it needs to amend the country's constitution to allow for land expropriation without compensation. The Summit will run from today until Sunday. On Friday president Cyril Ramaphosa embarked on a campaign trail interacting with the Tembisa community, east of Johannesburg. The President visited the only city in Gauteng province governed by the party, post the 2016 local government elections.
