Cyclone Remal has started the process of landfall between Bangladesh and West Bengal. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the process is expected to continue for four hours. As per the IMD, along with West Bengal, other Northeastern states of India like Tripura, Assam, Nagaland and Manipur may witness rainfall and strong winds.
