I always thought .. you don’t use a lot of drive on a great Telecaster, and then I soon remembered, as I was playing it, these guitars will do everything,, telecaster is such an amazingly simple and completely pedal happy… which basically means you can use any drive with a little tweak and make it work with a Telecaster ….
For many many years in my early playing days, I always thought of a telecaster as a country, flavored guitar,, and I was playing blues,, when I was starting, and it took me a few years to realize how incredibly amazing the Telecaster is even now after all these years. I have several telecaster this particular one just jumps in front of the more modern, very expensive models today. Sometimes when fender leans on their old technologies,, the miracles happen.
