This is our family starter base on the Ark Survival Ascended Astraeos map. Most of the build so far is thanks to our neighbor helping me with items after I made a brand new character earlier in the morning. Surfty is the only one able to teleport around since I need to reach level 100 to fight bosses after raising some boss dinosaurs in the future. I love my white saber-toothed chibi wearing a party hat; it is my favorite. I ran around sporting the event-exclusive birthday suit skin. The candy that changes the dinosaur color for up to 24 hours is fun to use but will go away if you cryo them. The various cakes from the event were my favorite drops, with the maturation and imprint cakes being the best! The other cakes were helpful as well, giving a taming, gathering, or tamed dino experience bonus. I hope they bring this event back again sometime. It was pretty easy to farm the party dodos around the beaches since you can hear them cooing. I am thankful for the amazing tames our neighbor gave me to help me get started. I rode the highly mutated Carcha Domina in the stream while gathering meat and searching for event dodos. I also adored the green Argent, whom I named Emerald, with insanely high mutations. I know they both came from a long line of breeding and appreciate how much time went into creating them. I am still upset I lost Emerald after a few days of metal gathering and limited breeding. I was trying to grab a uniquely colored event baby wolf for our daughter to add to her collection. After I killed a few wolves and hopped off to grab the baby, a huge pack of wolves ambushed me from the forest. I was able to hop on the bird and try to fight; however, when they surrounded me, I got stuck in their mesh, unable to fly away. I created a gravestone for remembrance, and I am lucky Surfty got one of its babies before it passed away; we named it Emerald Stud. The game crashed abruptly, which happens when Ark servers are overloaded with the release of a new island on the Asteros map, so I ended the stream.
