Benjamin Moore is a notoriously thick, water-based alkyd. Many of the cheaper HVLP spray guns, whether turbine or compressor-based seem to have trouble spraying it and the tips are often cited as being too narrow. I used a 5/64" drill bit and enlarged the center hole from the factory-sized 1.4mm to something closer to 2mm. It seems to have worked enough for my home use.
