2 Locomotives Pull 1 Railcar Past Old Building With Roof Collapse, Cincinnati Eastern Railroad CCET

2 older locomotives pull a load of scrap metal past the dilapidated brick building next to the railroad crossing in Williamsburg, Ohio. Short Line Railroad Action & Steam Trains In Pennsylvania On The Strasburg Branch Line. The 2 steam trains with accurate freight cars and cabooses was a Lerro Productions Photo Charter train. The Ohio train had just done some railroad switching at a scrap metal customer in Macon, Ohio and was returning westbound. That is the Cincinnati Eastern Railroad or CCET. The 2 classic locomotives had been sitting inside the wye at Sardinia, Ohio. They worked Cohen Recycling and were bringing back one load of scrap metal in a gondola car. First we see them at a railroad crossing in Mount Orab, Ohio. Then we see them passing Williamsburg, Ohio where a building recently had a roof collapse after a storm. The historic giant brick building use to make furniture but has been closed for years. The lead unit is a GE B36-7 and the trailing unit is an EMD MP15DC. I have been getting a lot of questions about the little switcher. People wanted to know what happened to it. Well, it is still here and still in use. For a while it had been doing work on the west end of the line. I heard this train from my yard while I was doing some yard work and decided to catch it for you guys. Filmed Wednesday, October 30, 2021.
The steam trains are from a Lerro Productions Photo Charter that I took at Strasburg, Pennsylvania in 2019. We rode the trains out to a couple of Amish farms and then the trains ran by us so we could photo or film them. I just haven't posted my videos of that day since it was rainy, windy and dreary weather. I did post one of them last year though.
