TGV Duplex crashes on my DCC H0 model railway

It's been 4 vears since I posted my popular TGV Duplex video. Since then, I have added my old layout sections to my new layout and modified the Lima TGV. I removed the wheels with traction tyres, replacing them with the wheels from the unpowered power car. The wheels on the unpowered car were reolaced with finescale wheels I had with the same axle diameter. I also removed the weight from the carriages and unpowered car. I also removed the close coupling mechanism between the end carriages and power units. This reduced the side forces on the bogie mounted couplers on the powercars. All was going well untill diaster. The unpowered unit was leading, and was derailed at speed. It ended up derailing 3 locomotives in my fiddle yard and one TGV passenger car ended up on the floor. Fortunately, because I had removed the metal weights from the TGV carriage, there was no damage at all, even though the carriage body uncliped itself and parts were spread on the floor. Just 1 buffer head was lost. Enjoy.
