Normal sudoku rules apply. Numbers are alpha numeric (1=a, 2=b, 3=c…. FOR ANSWER CHECK TO WORK, YOU MUST USE NUMBERS IN THE GRID, unlike Mark).
Any vowel cannot be a chess knight’s move away from an identical letter. The green 3-cell lines form a 3-letter word from the list: ACE, AGE, AID, BAG, BEG, DIE, DIG, FED, FIG, HAD, ICE, BID, BAD. Each word occurs exactly once along a line, though it may occur again outside of a line. The gray cell contains a larger digit than each orthogonal neighbour.
