BIG BOOST!🔥REECE JAMES IS BACK TO COBHAM ✅Chelsea Training Today for Everton,Enzo,Lavia,Palmer,Felix Chelsea fc news
So Chelsea squad was straight back to work at Cobham today for the quick turnaround from last night's UEFA Conference League victory to Sunday's Premier League trip to Everton. The Blues completed the league phase of the Conference League with a 100 per cent record to progress to the last 16 as table toppers thanks to Thursday evening's 5-1 home win over Shamrock Rovers, our sixth victory in a row in that competition.
However, it is the Premier League which now
takes all of the team's focus, as we enter the
busy Christmas schedule and the games come
thick and tast, starting at Goodison Park when we take on Everton in two days' time.
As those who played last night recover ahead
of that trip and the players not involved against Shamrock Rovers step up their preparations to take on the Toffees, Enzo Maresca and his squad were hard at work out on the training pitch. Those involved on Friday included Pedro Neto, who is available again after serving his one- match suspension in the Premier League, and captain Reece James making his first steps back into partial training, although it is too early for him to be considered for selection.James' return to competitive match action still seems weeks away and that is also the case for defenders Badiashile and Fofana. "Both are still out and both will still be out for a long period," Maresca said, before confirming neither player will be back before January. Midfielder Romeo Lavia will face a late fitness test before Maresca makes a final decision on his availability, but Chelsea have no other injury issues as it stands. They are, however, without winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who has been provisionally suspended after failing a drugs test.
