Our high-cut ballistic helmet not only meets but also exceeds the ACH Blunt Impact Protection requirements outlined in AR/PD 10-02. This assessment is based on the U.S. Army helmet impact test, which follows the Department of Transportation's FMVSS 218 standard (2006) for motorcycle helmets.

In this test, the helmet is fitted to a DOT headform and dropped onto a hemispherical steel anvil at various points – the crown, front, rear, right side, left side, left nape, and right nape. Each drop occurs twice. These tests are conducted at different temperatures, including ambient, hot, and cold, to evaluate how the helmet performs in various environments.

This is the first helmet sample (hot-conditioned) drop test.

Throughout these impacts, we measure the acceleration of the headform to ensure it remains below a predefined threshold. Our goal is not only to meet these requirements but to deliver industry-leading performance, often achieving accelerations that are at least 15% lower than the specified thresholds. This means our helmet transmits less force/impact energy to the wearer upon impact, enhancing safety and protection.
