Battlefield 2042 Season 5 Before and After Hourglass 2.0 Map Rework!

EA DICE recently released the Battlefield 2042 Development Update for Season 4 giving players a sneak peek at the content coming in the Battle pass, new weapons, new vehicles, skins, and other cosmetics, new maps, and map reworks. One of the map reworks that was mentioned was the hourglass map rework. In my opinion, this map needed a rework the most out of all the maps so it being the last map to get one is unfortunate. This map rework adds more cover and new points of interest. Some of the changes are quite large so hope it plays well.

Battlefield 2042 is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on November 19, 2021, for multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation, & Xbox. Unlike previous Battlefield games, it does not have a single-player campaign and focuses solely on multiplayer gameplay. The game received mixed reviews from critics and negative reviews from players upon release.

Battlefield 2042 features intense all-out warfare with cutting-edge weaponry & gadgets, including deployable turrets and drones. Players can commandeer various vehicles in the game. A new "Plus" system allows players to customize their weapons on the spot. The class system has been overhauled, bringing back the traditional classes of Assault, Engineer, Medic, and Recon. Each class has unique skills & abilities.

The game includes dynamic elements like Levolution & destructive environments, similar to Battlefield 4. Extreme weather effects such as tornadoes & sandstorms can impact gameplay. Battlefield 2042 launched with seven maps offering both open battlegrounds and close-quarters combat.
