Leo Klövekorn was the Commander of the 1st Company of the 1st Battalion of the German Imperial 5. Westfälisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 53, the Cologne Regiment of the Crown Prince, known as the 'Kronensöhne', which with the assistance of the 2nd Company, successfully stormed and took Fort Vaux of Verdun in 1916. This is his story. Includes current-day footage of Fort Vaux as well as period WW1 photos. Filmed and edited by Klovekorn the Relic Hunter.
