What's It Like To Be 69? One Young Girl Sets Out To Find The Answer...

Let's get real- being a woman over 60 and living alone. I shared my talk with a young woman who's grandmother just died and she cried and asked me the questions she never got to ask her grandmother. Can you help also by answering perhaps one of the questions Diane as asking?
I take you through my week, finding a great garage sale and making a baseball friend!...desi's birthday is next month and he will be 12...he is looking much older now and I felt so whistful about that this week. I hug him tighter now.
I talk a lot about living on our own...and there are so many things nobody ever tells us.
Are we afraid? Are we bored? What do we care about?
We are connected...we live in the "now"...and we are, free. We help each other here every day.

I hope this video helps those of you who are going through a new living arrangement.
Let us know how you feel about any change you may have had in your living arrangement over the years. Divorce or losing a spouse or partner is a great sorrow...it takes time, but we survive and we can thrive...but happiness is never free is it.

We are the bottom of the 9th and the bases are loaded....
