This film forms a genre transition between portrait documentary and informational film. It presents the phases of felt making, from sheep shearing to wool processing to various felting techniques. It is pioneering and innovative in that it elevates felt to today's modern art forms. Its purpose is to introduce and popularize felt-making as one of the most ancient textile-making techniques.
