Plate Tectonics Explained *SIMPLE and EASY*

The Earth's crust is divided up into tectonic plates that have been slowly moving over millions of years. This movement is caused my convection currents in the mantle. This explains the theory of continental drift, and means that our world will look different in a million years!

This video explains how this movement occurs, what plate boundaries are, and is the foundation for my next video: the different types of plate boundaries.
