There are some great options for sound devices for Dos and Windows 95 regaming on retro PCs. The Sound Blaster AWE64 is a very common card that you found on lots of PCs from the late 90s. In the other hand, the Roland SC-55 Sound Canvas device although not specifically made for gaming can produce beautiful, clean, Midi music.
