Get Ahead with Batch Cooked Steel Cut Oats in the Instant Pot

This Instant Pot Steel Cut Oats Recipe is a timesaver at any time, but this week it's all about reducing clean up too as our dishwasher failed (Yikes!). If you've not cooked steel cut oats as a batch before, it's really simple. Just cook them as a basic recipe in the Instant Pot with water and salt then add all your extras, including a splash of dairy or nut milk and your favourite toppers, when you do the reheating in the microwave in the morning. This prevents the dreaded Instant Pot Burn Notice and also means the Oats are food safe for a longer storage time. I hope this method helps when you need to grab back some time or save on that washing up.
