Yano sometimes in life, sometimes you face moments that are harder than others. Thats what happened to me four years ago when I got diagnosed with type one diabetes; it flipped my whole world upside down. But when I was on the way to the hospital last night I made a commitment to myself that I wouldnt let it slow me down. Now four years later Ive been blessed with the opportunity to travel around the world and live my dream, Ive met the president of the United States, weve had two number one records, two covers of rolling stone, so you tell me something has it slowed me down? I said has it slowed me down? So when that moment comes and you need a song to help you through hard times I want to encourage you with these words tonight, if there is one thing I wanted you to leave this building with its these words dont you ever, ever let it slow you down, because I believe in you and I want to thank all of you for believing in me, four years ago yesterday I was diagnosed with type one diabetes, and guess what four years later Im here with you, Im here with the best fans in the world.
