Over 1,500 Chinese secured student visas in Cagayan in 2023 - BI

The Bureau of Immigration maintained that they only give student visas to foreign nationals endorsed by legitimate schools and the Commission on Higher Education.

The agency reiterated that those foreign nationals may be subjected to validation at any time if suspicious activities are detected and deemed threats to national security.
