Hey Guys.
A lot of questions about cartilage. I am sure you know a lot of things about bone health, but in context with cartilage health, cartilage is nothing but a thin layer which is part of every joint. And the most common cartilage problem what we face and the common question what I get is about knee cartilage loss. Knee cartilage loss or knee cartilage degeneration is called osteoarthritis. That’s what people commonly refer to as knee arthritis. Three foods to eat to combat that or to reduce the inflammation is to include oranges or guava. Oranges are rich in vitamin c and has direct effect on the inflammation and it helps rebuild your cartilages.
Number two is pomegranate. I have spoken a lot about pomegranates in my previous videos. Pomegranate does nourish your cartilage.
Number 3. Not many people know about this. You should know about it because it is widely available in our country. Sesame seeds help heal your cartridges. When you add sesame seeds to your diet, it definitely nourishes your cartilages. These are the three foods that you should take to nourish your cartilage.
And another tip that I would like to say is, if you are above the age of 40, I got this question from a bunch of people who are above the age of 40, that’s why I mentioned 40. Please stick to at east 15 minutes of walking. Anything more than that is good too, but at least basic 15 minutes of walking increases your knee cartilage health.
Another important thing is to reduce the intake of white sugar. I don’t know if you can comply with that. If you do all these things, and If you are suffering from osteoarthritis, it will be helpful and you can combat it with these simple tips.
