Save money on a harness! Harness Hardware Explained. We are taking a closer look at quick release belt buckles, sliders (or weight retainers) and D-rings - all the parts you need to assemble a harness for a backplate and wing.

We are going to be looking at the materials your hardware should be made out of, how to assemble a d-ring and slider and I’m going to tell you how to avoid over-paying for your next harness for your backplate and wing (BPW) set up. I actually have made a very good harness for a backplate for $42USD! Avoid the big brands like Apeks and Halcyon and buy the basic materials, which are just as good.

If you have a dive gear or scuba equipment question you would like a quick tips video about, let me know in the comments!

Thanks for watching!
