Lever model 500, 1979, semi-automatic single knife 60" wide, with a 15" diameter knife and a 3" diameter cut shaft. With the 15" diameter knife the maximum roll diameter you can cut on a 3" core is 10 - 12". The slit width size control is both automatic and manual. There is an automatic spray mist for cooling and lubricating the knife for slitting material with adhesive. The carriage is mechanically driven. There is a PLC that was added to replace many of the air actuators. However, the machine is operated manually with buttons and switches. . All of the functions such as distance of the blade to the shaft, slit width size, shaft speed, blade speed, and core dwell are all manually adjusted. There was a blade grinding system that was removed from the machine. The motor is still attached and the parts are still available. The chuck for holding the core in place is manually opened and closed. A Plexiglas guard system is in place for the blade and a cover for the rotating chuck. Both trigger a limit switch to shut the slitter off when they are open. There are two extra blades, a spare plc, some other parts and a full set of manuals. Power requirements is 220v 3 phase. All blades are double beveled.
