Silent Hiking the Huemul Circuit, El Chaltén, Argentina

01:18 Day 1: El Chaltén to Paso del Viento Camp. Distance: 28 km, elevation gain: 1,600 meters
03:34 First river crossing: the water was low enough in late summer to cross on foot, and also there were several people waiting to cross at the cable
04:56 Paso del Viento: it was difficult to stand in the wind lower on the approach, but interestingly the wind was less severe up higher near the pass

12:15 Second river crossing: the river was much stronger at this point. Crossing on foot would have been very risky
