Wow, this was a long one!
I was playing Katamari Damacy and the moment I heard it, I fell in love!

Transcription was a b***h. I re-timed the animations of the Prince's Cousins to match the BPM of the song (frame by frame). Timed every still of the instrumental (the ones in the stickers) to the sheet music. Adapted the guitar part finding the right grips, from the notes, one by one. Studied and recorded the vocal harmony and the video for it. To make a long story short, the keen of eye will notice that I sport different levels of tan through the video. That's how long production took...

And yet it was the most fun I had in a long time! It was all for laughs and giggles and because I so want you to have fun too, so sit back and enjoy the genius creation of Keita Takahashi and Yuu Miyake!

Seriously, look up their work, play the games of the Katamari Damacy series: the videogames are so fun and so different from any other title you might have played and the entirety of the soundtrack is a once in a blue moon type of deal. Even just the fact that all the tunes have words in them, which is something that never happens in ORIGINAL game soundtracks. But also the way they chose outside talent for many of the tracks, the extravagant stylistic choices.
The level of quirk and experimentation, the creativity it must take to come up with this stuff! ❤️❤️❤️
