Wendy takes us back to 2007, a time before Instagram and TikTok, when she met her Dutch husband, Marvin Onderwater, on the now-defunct social media platform, MySpace. Their love story, which led to marriage and a move to the Netherlands, seemed perfect until the arrival of their first child brought an unexpected challenge: a crippling battle with Postpartum Depression (PPD).

But the struggles didn’t end there. Wendy opens up about her lifelong fight with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal disorder that manifested in one of the most challenging ways: the growth of a beard (hirsutism). She discusses the emotional toll of this condition, how it affected her self-esteem, and the honest conversations she had to have with her husband.
