On September 24, 2025, a SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket launched from LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center carrying three important NASA science missions:

IMAP (Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe): Will map the boundary where the solar wind meets interstellar space, helping us understand cosmic radiation and the Sun’s influence.

SWFO-L1 (Space Weather Follow-On, Lagrange Point 1): A NOAA mission to monitor the Sun and provide early warnings of solar storms that can disrupt satellites, GPS, and power grids.

Carruthers Space Telescope: A UV observatory named after Dr. George Carruthers, designed to capture high-resolution ultraviolet views of space.
