Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion, we're going to be installing the weather tech side window air deflectors. Part number WT82400. The weather tech air deflectors, are going to allow you to crack your window in harsh weather conditions, without getting any rain or snow inside. Its low profile and sleek design is gonna give it a factory look, and also help to prevent wind noise. They're constructed of a three millimeter thick acrylic that's gonna be durable, and flexible. They install easily with no exterior tape. Now that we've gone over some of the features, let's show you how to get it installed. Here we have our weather tech air deflectors, you'll get two front, and two rear.
So, you'll be able to have for both sides. To install it, you'll need a cloth, and some soapy water to clean the windows. To begin you want to take your cloth and your soapy water and clean the upper edge of both your front and your rear window, and on your driver's side. Now we'll install our front, if there's any stickers on there, you'll want to pull those off. And you want to make sure your weather tech emblem is near the rear of the window you're going to install it on. Now that your window is clean, go ahead and roll your window all the way down. And you'll place this in to the front of your seam first.
It must sit on top of your outer weather stripping. You'll then need to take this end and get it in the back. Be careful when flexing it, it'll flex enough for you to get it in there. And slowly work it in, starting at the front. And then just push it all the way up, until it's seeded. Pull out slightly on it, and now you want to roll your window up slowly.
And once it goes up, you'll want to do this five times to make sure it seats. And now we'll install the rear. The curved part goes towards the rear of the rear window. You want to begin by removing the adhesive covers, and place the rear end, after you've got the rear in and up, you'll come to the front, place it in, then we're gonna slide it all the way up. Press it into place firmly, and then you'll want to pull out lightly again, to make sure it's fully seeded. Now, we can activate our window, repeat that five times. Then once it's complete, you'll want to let it sit for about 12 hours with the window fully up, to make sure that they stay seeded.
And you'll repeat this same procedure on the other side. And that completes our installation of the weather tech side window air deflectors, for our 2011 Ford Fusion.
